Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Superintendent to join our team at Drucker and Falk, LLC. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for the physical upkeep of our properties and ensuring that all maintenance operations are carried out in a safe and efficient manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Train and supervise a team of maintenance employees to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Hire and terminate employees in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Maintenance Operations
    • Establish and implement maintenance schedules and assign tasks to employees.
    • Conduct regular inspections of buildings, grounds, and common areas to identify potential maintenance issues and ensure that all areas are clean and well-maintained.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks and repairs, including plumbing, carpentry, and electrical work.
  • Safety and Compliance
    • Ensure that all maintenance operations are carried out in accordance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
    • Conduct regular safety meetings with employees and document topics discussed.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment maintenance.
    • Prepare and submit regular reports to management on maintenance activities and any issues that may require attention.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
    • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management, with supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certifications and Licenses
    • CFC certificate required; CPO certification preferred.
    • Valid driver's license required.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
