Position Overview

Key Responsibilities

As a Corporate Financial Analyst, your primary duties will include:
  • Preparing and disseminating comprehensive reports and presentations for senior management, encompassing financial forecasts, utilization metrics, trend analyses for essential indicators, and market evaluations.
  • Overseeing the annual budgeting process, collaborating with various business units to facilitate budget planning, and maintaining critical asset-level models.
  • Conducting in-depth financial analyses and modeling for new investment ventures, business development initiatives, mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Performing due diligence and various assessments related to acquisition prospects.
  • Collaborating closely with senior executives, including the CEO, CFO, COO, and CSO, to assess corporate strategies and analyze the financial implications of their execution.
  • Updating and maintaining financial reports to ensure accurate daily and monthly forecasts.
  • Organizing data and assisting in the review of daily revenue and costs.
  • Working alongside the CFO, CAO, and Corporate Controller to analyze monthly financials.
  • Developing and refining detailed financial projection models.
  • Creating various ad hoc reports and visual representations in Excel.
  • Compiling monthly and quarterly variance analyses to clarify discrepancies in financial statement accounts.
  • Preparing internal materials for senior leadership and the board, evaluating historical and projected business trends, capital market trends, and the financial impact of potential strategic alternatives.
  • Drafting external presentation materials, press releases, and other documentation necessary for facilitating transactions, investor conferences, quarterly earnings reports, and meetings with current and prospective investors.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with familiarity in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • A solid understanding of accounting systems.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A willingness to take responsibility and ownership of assigned functions.
  • The capability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Independence and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience or a BBA, preferably in accounting, finance, economics, or statistics.
