About the Role

As a Software Development Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing, developing, and deploying cutting-edge cloud contact center solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management and engineering leadership, to drive technical strategy and deliver high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers in designing, developing, and deploying cloud contact center solutions
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive technical strategy and deliver high-quality products
  • Develop and implement engineering best practices and standards
  • Partner with product management to define product requirements and roadmaps
  • Mentor and coach engineers to improve their skills and performance

Requirements
  • 8+ years of engineering experience
  • 3+ years of engineering team management experience
  • 3+ years of designing or architecting new and existing systems experience
  • Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
  • Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements and describe software product features
  • Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching, and managing teams of Software Engineers

The base pay for this position ranges from $166,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $287,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company and may provide additional forms of compensation, such as equity, sign-on payments, and other benefits, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
