Senior Documentation Manager, Amazon Software Development Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Documentation Manager to join our Amazon Software Development team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive content strategy that supports the success of our developers worldwide.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a content strategy that aligns with our business objectives and supports the needs of our developers.
- Lead a team of technical writers and editors to create high-quality documentation that meets the needs of our developers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and meets the needs of our developers.
- Develop and maintain documentation tools and processes to support the creation and maintenance of high-quality documentation.
- Collect and analyze feedback from our developers to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to address these issues.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical writing or content management role.
- 5+ years of experience writing for a developer or IT operations audience.
- 5+ years of experience working on multiple documentation projects simultaneously with competing priorities and deadlines.
- Strong ability to work across teams and groups to accomplish objectives.
- Experience with web services.
- Experience with an object-oriented programming language such as Java, Ruby, or C#.
- Experience with an automation scripting framework such as bash shell scripting, Windows batch scripting, or Windows PowerShell.
- Experience with command-line tools.
