Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Faith Formation Director to join our team at the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing, and articulating a comprehensive and integrated religious catechesis program for the parish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a vision for comprehensive and integrated religious catechesis for the parish.
  • Plan and coordinate programs for children's liturgy, faith formation for children, youth, and adults, and sacramental preparation for RCIA, Baptism, Eucharist, Reconciliation, and Marriage.
  • Ensure that all programs recognize liturgy as the source of parish life and formation and presume both the doctrinal and social teachings of the Church.
  • Collaborate with parish staff and clergy to develop and implement catechetical programs.
  • Recruit, train, and supervise catechetical leaders and volunteers.
  • Develop and manage budgets for catechetical programs.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of catechetical programs.
Qualifications
  • Masters degree in Theology or related field.
  • Five or more years of experience in faith formation.
  • Prefer supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products and database management.
