Position Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to oversee our manufacturing facilities within the aerospace sector. This role is ideal for individuals with a robust background in facility management, particularly in a manufacturing context. The selected candidate will be tasked with ensuring that our facilities adhere to safety and quality standards consistently. Responsibilities will encompass managing facility maintenance, space optimization, renovations, construction initiatives, and equipment upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the daily functions of manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality protocols.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies, including preventive measures and repair tasks.
  • Coordinate space planning, renovation efforts, and construction projects.
  • Manage installation, repair, and maintenance of facilities and equipment.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Plan and oversee ground services.
  • Conduct regular safety training and drills for personnel.
  • Respond effectively to emergencies or equipment malfunctions.
  • Manage the facilities budget to promote cost-effective operations.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors as necessary.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of facility enhancements and expansions.


Qualifications:
  • At least 7 years of experience in facility management within the manufacturing industry, ideally in aerospace with a focus on composites.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing facility maintenance, space planning, renovations, and construction projects.
  • Thorough understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven capability in managing facility and equipment maintenance programs.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in facility management software and systems.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to respond efficiently to emergencies and high-pressure situations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking capabilities.
