Job Overview

Polly Pies is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to lead our team and drive business growth. Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
    • Coach and mentor team members to improve skills and knowledge.
    • Manage labor costs, scheduling, and time-off requests.
  • Store Operations
    • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and cash handling.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
    • Monitor and control costs, including food, labor, and supply expenses.
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer complaints and feedback.
    • Monitor and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
    • Monitor and control cash flow, ensuring timely payment of bills and invoices.
    • Make informed decisions to optimize profitability and minimize losses.
  • Marketing and Community Engagement
    • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers.
    • Build relationships with local businesses and community groups to promote Polly Pies.
    • Participate in local events and sponsorships to increase brand visibility.
  • Continuous Improvement
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement changes to enhance operations and customer experience.
    • Monitor and analyze customer feedback and sales data to inform business decisions.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to maintain a competitive edge.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in restaurant management or a related field.
  • Proven track record of success in leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and cash handling.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers, team members, and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
