Position Overview:

We are in search of a proactive and experienced Facilities Operations Manager within the Aerospace Industry. This role is ideal for candidates with a robust background in facility management, particularly in a manufacturing context. The selected individual will oversee all facets of our manufacturing facilities, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily operations of manufacturing facilities, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
  • Develop and execute facility maintenance strategies, including preventive maintenance and repair initiatives.
  • Coordinate space planning, renovations, and construction activities.
  • Oversee facilities and equipment installation, repair, and maintenance operations.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Plan and manage ground services effectively.
  • Conduct regular safety training and drills for personnel.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or equipment malfunctions.
  • Develop and manage the facilities budget, ensuring operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with external contractors and vendors as necessary.
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of facility enhancements and expansions.

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in facility management within the manufacturing sector, preferably in aerospace with a composite focus.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing facility maintenance, space planning, renovations, and construction projects.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proven ability to manage facilities and equipment installation, repair, and maintenance programs.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in facility management software and systems.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
  • Ability to respond effectively to emergencies and high-pressure situations.
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
