Veterinary Neurology Specialist

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is a unique veterinary facility. We invite you to join our AAHA-accredited and VECCS Level 1 emergency and specialty hospital as a Veterinary Neurologist, where you will have the opportunity to develop a service that is in its early stages. With a newly constructed, state-of-the-art specialty building set to open soon, featuring a 3 Tesla MRI and 64-slice CT, you will play a crucial role in establishing an exceptional Neurology service.

As a Veterinary Neurologist, you will collaborate with our established Neurology team and the referring veterinary community to build your caseload while working alongside DoveLewis' specialists to develop diagnostic and surgical strategies for patients with neurological conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the medical care of neurology patients presented to DoveLewis
  • Conducting consultations and performing diagnostic and surgical interventions
  • Establishing strong working relationships with our referring veterinary community

What We Seek:

  • A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or certification through ECFVG
  • The ability to obtain licensure in the state of Oregon
  • Current ADCVIM (neurology) board certification or eligibility
  • A commitment to and passion for a client-centered practice.
  • (Eagerness/ability to understand and engage with the rDVM network, educate, cultivate, and support practice expansion)
