Veterinary Neurologist Opportunity

DoveLewis Veterinary Emergency and Specialty Hospital is a unique veterinary facility. We invite you to join our AAHA-accredited and VECCS Level 1 emergency and specialty hospital as a Neurologist, where you will have the chance to expand a service that is in its early stages of development.

Our upcoming, state-of-the-art specialty building will provide advanced resources, including a 3 Tesla MRI and 64-slice CT, creating numerous opportunities to enhance our Neurology service.

As a Neurologist, you will collaborate with our established Neurology team and the referring veterinary community to build your caseload. You will work alongside DoveLewis' specialists to develop diagnostic and surgical plans for patients with neurological conditions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the medical care of neurology patients presented to DoveLewis
  • Conducting consultations and performing diagnostic and surgical procedures
  • Establishing strong working relationships with our referring veterinary community

What We Seek:

Whether you are early in your career or a seasoned veterinarian seeking new opportunities, we want to connect with you. We are looking for:

  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or certification through ECFVG
  • Eligibility for licensure in the state of Oregon
  • Current ADCVIM (neurology) board certification or board eligibility
  • A passion for a client-centered practice
  • (eagerness/ability to understand and support the rDVM network)

Any satisfactory equivalent combination of experience and training may be considered as a substitute for the above qualifications.
