Shift Schedule: 7 AM - 5:30 PM
  • 8 shifts every two weeks
  • Every other weekend or every third weekend expected

Patient Demographics: Adults

Patient Load: 10 patients per shift
Admissions: 2 per shift
Team Composition: 7 Physicians and 7 Advanced Practice Providers

Responsibilities:

The Neurology Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for:
  • Conducting neuro examinations
  • Performing NIH Stroke Scale assessments
  • Providing complex stroke care

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Continuing Education Units (CEUs)
  • On-site lab and X-ray services

Facility Information:
  • 500 beds available
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Epic

Hospital Privileges: Required

Essential Requirements:
  • Active Oregon License
  • Board Certified/Board Eligible
  • DEA Registration
  • BLS Certification
  • NIH Stroke Scale Certification
