Job Description

Crabapple Roofing Contractors, LLC is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the Charlotte region.

Your primary goal will be to develop and maintain relationships with potential customers, from initial contact to closing the deal. You will work closely with our marketing and sales teams to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.

To be successful in this role, you should have a proven track record of sales experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect potential customers through cold calling, email, and other forms of communication
  • Maintain a CRM database to ensure accurate and up-to-date information on leads
  • Record monthly and quarterly sales and performance goals to ensure they are being met
  • Present our company to potential clients and attend networking events to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
  • Build long-term trusting relationships with clients

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
  • Experience in a construction or commercial real estate field a plus
  • Ability to identify opportunities and develop effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Proven track record of at least 2 years of experience in a sales position or related field
  • Working knowledge of the sales process and CRM software
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong time management skills, communication skills (both written and verbal), and interpersonal skills
  • Current U.S. driver's license and the ability to travel by car
