Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Social Science Researcher to join our team as a Partner/Principal Investigator Consultant. The successful candidate will work on a Department of State (DOS), Office of the Inspector General (OIG) opportunity, developing, collecting, analyzing, and disseminating research and evaluation studies.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure successful implementation and compliance of all task order requirements;
  • Provide leadership in the design and implementation of investigations and evaluations;
  • Support the clarification of investigation/evaluation objectives, subobjectives, and methodological scope;
  • Guide team members in developing methodologies and data collection tools;
  • Liaise with diverse DOS stakeholders;
  • Monitor progress of qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis;
  • Provide detailed oversight of product development, including work plans, reports, and briefing materials.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree;
  • A minimum of eight years of experience in complex social science research, investigations, or evaluation studies;
  • A minimum of three years of experience as a manager or higher level labor category on inspections or evaluations;
  • Active SECRET clearance, TOP SECRET preferred;
  • Familiarity with the current situation in Ukraine;
  • Understanding of U.S. foreign assistance;
  • Experience with a range of research designs and methods;
  • Proven expertise in ensuring investigations and evaluations meet the highest methodological rigor and ethical standards;
  • Familiarity with the Department of State writing style guide;
  • Experience designing and implementing studies.
