Job Title: Senior Survey Research Analyst

George Washington University seeks a detail-oriented Senior Survey Research Analyst to plan, gather, analyze, and summarize survey data, providing university stakeholders with reliable and accurate information for planning decisions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the development and analysis of internal and external surveys, including overseeing survey creation, data summarization, and statistical analysis.
  • Ensure accurate statistical analyses and merging of survey data with system data.
  • Conduct social research and analysis to support assessment and accreditation requirements and academic program reviews.
  • Train staff and student employees on survey design, data visualization, and statistical software.
  • Develop procedures for systematizing data collection and data cleaning for the office and collaborating offices.
  • Manage the University-wide online course evaluation process, including updating the website, inviting department participation, and solving access problems.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization plus 5 years of relevant professional experience, or a Master's degree or higher in a relevant area of study plus 3 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Knowledge of survey science research methods, statistical methods, and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, SAS, Tableau, and Qualtrics.
  • Comprehensive understanding of relational databases and experience with business intelligence software.
