About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Intervention Specialist II to join our team at Texana Center. As a Residential Trainer, you will work directly with children who have intellectual and developmental disabilities and problem behaviors.

Your key responsibilities will include implementing behavior analysis programs and special treatment sessions as directed, providing frequent positive interactions with individuals, and conducting social skills educational, recreational, and vocational training.

Compensation and Benefits

Requirements and Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED required; relevant experience preferred
  • Valid Texas Driver's license required

Physical Demands

  • Ability to perform SAMA and CPR
  • Must be able to perform light pushing, stooping, light carrying, repeated bending, reaching above shoulder, simple grasping, hearing, walking, and sitting
