Job Description

As a Communications Specialist - Speech Therapy, you will be responsible for assessing and implementing individualized therapy plans to address speech and language disorders in our students. Your expertise will be invaluable in helping us provide the best possible education for our students.

Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Intervention: Conduct thorough assessments to identify speech and language disorders and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate speech and language goals into students' educational plans.
  • Case Load Management: Manage a moderate case load of diverse students with varying communication needs, ensuring that each student receives personalized attention and care.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, progress, and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • A valid Texas SLP license.
