We pride ourselves on delivering consultative and tailored packaging solutions to esteemed industrial clients in sectors such as food & beverage, chemicals, and materials. Our unique approach emphasizes partnership over brokerage, enabling us to leverage expertise across various product categories and maximize opportunities for cross-selling to a diverse portfolio of blue-chip customers.
Position Summary
We are looking for a dedicated National Account Manager to take charge of new business development, manage current accounts, cultivate and sustain customer relationships, and pinpoint new target customers within designated regions. This role will focus on advancing FIBC and complementary solution sales, necessitating a comprehensive understanding of the industry and collaboration with the sales team. The ideal candidate will be highly driven, proactive, and eager to embrace challenges while contributing to a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate and drive new business opportunities
- Continuously seek and develop new client relationships
- Manage CRM systems, sales pipeline, and target accounts
- Establish and nurture relationships with national accounts and key prospects
- Prepare sales forecasts, manage territories, and devise growth strategies
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets
- Develop a robust sales pipeline
- Contribute positively to a collaborative team environment
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in business development and account management
- Experience working with large, multi-regional clients
- Preferred background in packaging, particularly FIBC sales
- Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly NetSuite
- Understanding of total cost of ownership and solution-based selling
- Experience selling to large corporations and Fortune 500 companies
- Strategic experience in developing key accounts and fostering high-level relationships
- Proven ability to cross-sell and enhance share of wallet
- Demonstrated sound judgment and creativity in addressing challenges
- Track record of achieving or surpassing performance goals
- Exhibit high levels of integrity, initiative, and honesty
- Willingness to travel 30% or more
