Role Summary
We are in search of a dedicated Senior Strategic Account Manager to spearhead new business initiatives, nurture existing client relationships, and pinpoint potential customers. This position is ideally suited for candidates located in the Western US, who will be instrumental in driving sales for FIBC and related solutions. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of the industry and work collaboratively with the sales team. We seek a highly driven individual, eager to tackle challenges and contribute to a high-achieving team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate new business opportunities and expand market reach.
- Continuously identify and pursue new client prospects.
- Manage customer relationship management (CRM) systems, sales pipelines, and target accounts.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients and prospects.
- Prepare sales forecasts, manage territories, and formulate growth strategies.
- Meet and exceed annual sales targets and objectives.
- Establish a robust sales pipeline.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in generating new business and establishing client relationships.
- Prior background in packaging, particularly in FIBC sales, is advantageous.
- Experience in agriculture and dairy markets is a plus.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, particularly NetSuite.
- Understanding of total cost of ownership and solution-based selling.
- Experience in selling to both Fortune 500 companies and smaller enterprises.
- Strategic experience in developing key accounts.
- Proven ability to cross-sell and enhance share of wallet.
- Strong judgment and creativity in addressing challenges and opportunities.
- Demonstrated success in meeting or surpassing performance metrics.
- Exhibit high levels of integrity, initiative, and honesty.
- Willingness to travel 30% or more.
