Role Summary:

The Medical Assistant plays a crucial role in providing outstanding patient care and assisting healthcare providers. This position encompasses basic clinical tasks, routine patient interactions, and administrative duties. The ideal candidate will embody our values, nurturing positive relationships that enhance clinic operations and patient satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome and prepare patients; guide them to pre-operative areas; assist with patient positioning and discharge processes.
  • Support Registered Nurses (RNs) with vital signs, blood draws, and administering treatments as instructed. Document and record vital signs, medical history, symptoms, concerns, and relevant information in patient records.
  • Observe patient conditions and relay any changes to the healthcare team as necessary.
  • Immediately report emergency situations to the Lead RN.
  • Manage and maintain medical equipment and supplies, including reordering, stocking, cleaning, and troubleshooting.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing, reception, scheduling, data entry, and patient registration.
  • Accurately document patient medical history, vital statistics, and other pertinent information, including test results, in medical records.
  • Execute additional tasks as assigned to support clinic operations.
