Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at ABM Industries. In this role, you will be responsible for developing new and existing business opportunities within a defined territory, focusing on power distribution sales and facilities services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, and building relationships with existing clients.
  • Develop and execute growth strategies and tactics for existing clients, including identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
  • Partner with businesses to co-author unique and outside-the-box solutions that meet their needs and exceed their expectations.
  • Develop and present pricing options for service and planned maintenance agreements, and assist clients in budgeting for future projects.
  • Benchmark partner facilities to identify inefficiencies and develop strategies to improve performance.
  • Develop and maintain strong business partnerships, building trust and delivering value-added solutions to clients.
  • Generate and deliver impactful proposals with professional executive-level presentations that lead to signed contracts.
  • Participate in sales and industry training, and convert that training into sales results.
  • Coordinate and cooperate with other members of the operations and sales team to ensure customer needs are met.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in power distribution sales, preferably including facilities services or other business solution or service sales direct to end-users.
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively to groups and all levels, including executive.
  • Leadership of customer engagements, with the desire, ability, and skills to manage the entire sales cycle.
  • Proven ability to build relationships with existing clients to maintain present sales and facilitate add-on business and services.
  • Ability to collaborate with other individuals, departments, and teams.
  • Strong ability to write compelling, detailed sales proposals.
  • Motivated to grow professionally, personally, and financially.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (or similar CRM).
