Clinical Recruitment and Benefits Specialist

The Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS) is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources professional to serve as the subject matter expert for full-cycle recruitment of Psychiatrist and Psychologists positions within the DBHDS healthcare system. This position will provide training to facility recruitment staff on best practices and will be responsible for evaluating recruitment metrics to ensure facilities are following best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract clinical staff to DBHDS
- Provide training to facility recruitment staff on best practices and recruitment metrics
- Evaluate recruitment metrics to ensure facilities are following best practices
- Collaborate with the DBHDS Workforce Development team on developing a pipeline of licensed providers
- Serve as the subject matter expert for benefits administration and training to benefit administrators within the 12 facilities and DBHDS Central Office
- Thorough understanding of the recruitment cycle and current recruitment tools available
- Proven history of performing full-cycle recruitment with additional consideration given to previous clinical recruitment experience
- Through knowledge and experience with Commonwealth of Virginia's benefit administration plans, including insurance, VSDP, VRS, Workers Comp and all other benefits
- Ability to problem solve and prioritize conflicting job demands, and work independently to achieve goals
- Ability to work with a diverse population of candidates, as well as HR staff, department heads, facility directors across the DBHDS system
- Working knowledge of the Commonwealth of Virginia RMS system PageUp
- Knowledge of Power BI
- SHRM or PHR Certification(s)
