The Scheduling Representative plays a crucial role in our customer care operations, ensuring that individuals are effectively connected with the necessary providers and services.
Compensation Details:
The initial compensation for this role is set at $17.50 per hour, determined by various non-discriminatory factors such as experience and skill level.

Role Responsibilities:
Below is a summary of the key responsibilities and qualifications for this position:
- Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally
- Assess caller needs accurately by verifying identity and call purpose, directing them to the appropriate resource for resolution
- Determine scheduling requirements by reviewing electronic health records
- Utilize the CNS Healthcare scheduling system to arrange appointments for clients with providers
- Organize transportation services for clients as necessary
- Monitor scheduling communications to ensure timely follow-up and service arrangements
- Support clinical staff by notifying them of scheduling changes for clients as required
- Follow up on assigned tasks, including rescheduling missed appointments
- Update information in electronic health records as needed
- Maintain compliance with established policies, HIPAA standards, and regulatory requirements
- Uphold CNS Healthcare's customer service standards in all interactions
- Keep relevant agency resources up-to-date for effective call handling
- Provide assistance to other customer care functions as needed
- Perform additional related duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience in an office environment
- Strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service in a diverse workplace
- Proficient in data entry, word processing, and telephone communication
- Ability to think proactively and take initiative
- Discretion and judgment in handling sensitive information
- Collaborative spirit and ability to foster positive relationships
- Commitment to inclusivity and respect for all individuals
- Valid Driver's License and reliable transportation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in a medical office setting
- Familiarity with behavioral health and substance use disorders
