We are currently presenting an exciting opportunity for a Senior Consultant within our Executive Compensation Consulting practice. In this capacity, you will enhance and apply your expertise in compensation design and implementation to provide high-quality and impactful solutions for clients. You will oversee projects with minimal guidance from senior consultants and/or contribute as a team member on larger, more intricate client assignments. Your primary focus will be on delivering billable client work while also supporting business development initiatives and participating in proposal teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a liaison between Account Managers (Partners), junior staff (Analysts-Consultants), and clients.
  • Manage client projects from inception to completion, translating client requirements into analytical and design recommendations across various topics such as executive compensation, board compensation, incentive plan design, and equity guidelines.
  • Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budget constraints.
  • Review and take responsibility for all methodologies, analyses, and outputs on each assigned project.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and developmental feedback to junior staff members.
  • Prepare summary reports detailing findings and recommendations.
  • Engage in co-delivering presentations to clients.
  • Assist in coordinating key areas of firm research.
  • Support new business and firm development activities (e.g., presentations, white papers, etc.).
Qualifications and Expertise

Preferred Experience:
  • 4+ years of experience in compensation or a related field.
  • Experience in executive compensation is highly desirable.
Essential Skills:
  • Strong quantitative skills and background.
  • Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Capability to synthesize and convey large volumes of data into key insights and identify associated business challenges.
  • Attention to detail while maintaining a focus on the broader context.
  • Confidence to present and defend methodologies and recommendations to C-level executives and Board of Directors.
  • Leadership experience in mentoring or developing peers and junior team members.
  • Proven ability to work effectively within teams (professionally or otherwise).
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Adept at multitasking and managing multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, loosely-structured, and deadline-driven environment.
  • Maturity to operate independently while maintaining open communication with team members regarding changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated success in terms of historical performance ratings and/or utilization (billable hours vs. total hours).
Educational Background:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics. Other fields of study will also be considered.
