About This Opportunity: We are seeking a Help Desk Technician to join our IT team at Verkada. As a Help Desk Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our employees, troubleshooting issues, and resolving problems in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions to ensure minimal downtime.
  • Administer a wide range of SaaS applications, including provision/modification/removal of access as needed.
  • Order/procure equipment, maintain vendor relationships, and manage inventory for all IT hardware and software.
  • Partner with business units to collaborate on projects and ensure seamless integration.
  • SaaS account management with a focus on security and cost evaluations.
  • Communicate effectively and concisely to the entire company.
  • Support global workforce, partner with overseas IT teams, both employees and consultants.
  • Analyze existing processes, suggest improvements, and implement business processes where necessary.

Requirements:

  • 5-star customer service mindset.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent teamwork skills.
  • Familiarity with macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android devices.
  • Ability to administer G-Suite for day-to-day operations.
  • Experience working with SSO (Okta, OneLogin, etc.).
  • Capable of managing AV hardware and software, including Zoom and other video conferencing software.
  • Strong knowledge of networking concepts (switching, firewalls, subnetting, wireless technologies, VPNs, LAN/WAN, etc.).

Compensation: The estimated annual base salary for this position is $90,000 - $130,000 USD.
