Job Summary

This Help Desk Support Specialist role is a critical position within our organization, responsible for providing technical assistance to our employees across various locations. The successful candidate will be based out of New York City and will spend their time supporting our facilities throughout the United States and internationally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide expert technical assistance to employees via phone, email, or on-site visits.
  • Service Request Management: Manage service requests from inception to completion, adhering to Service Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Customer Advocacy: Serve as a customer advocate, ensuring that all interactions result in a positive experience.
  • ITIL Compliance: Work within an ITIL-compliant service request management system.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Possess a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Technical Skills: Have basic experience with Microsoft desktop operating systems and Office Automation tools (Office 2013/2016 Professional [Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access], Internet Explorer, etc.).
  • Mobile Device Support: Be able to provide support for Apple iOS and Android devices.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Exhibit strong organizational and time management skills.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $24-$28 per hour, commensurate with experience. Additional benefits include health insurance, paid time off, 401K, and other company perks.
