Job Title: Food Fanatic Chef

Job Summary:

The Food Fanatic Chef is a key role in driving sales growth and culinary excellence for US Foods. This position requires a strong culinary background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Culinary Leadership: Develop and execute culinary strategies to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and preferences.
  • Product Knowledge: Possess a thorough knowledge of US Foods products and be able to communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Training and Development: Design and deliver training programs to customers and internal stakeholders on culinary techniques and product applications.
  • Event Planning: Plan and execute events, product cuttings, and sales conferences to showcase US Foods products and culinary expertise.
  • Menu Development: Utilize Menu Profit Pro to create customized, costed recipes for customers.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Culinary Background: Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, including a comprehensive culinary background.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages and delivery to the right audience.
  • Product Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of US Foods products and culinary techniques.
  • Training and Development: Ability to design and deliver training programs to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Event Planning: Experience in planning and executing events, product cuttings, and sales conferences.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Chef Certification: Certification in culinary arts or related field.
  • Culinary Experience: Experience in the culinary industry, including kitchen management and menu development.

Work Environment: This role requires working in a kitchen environment, either at the Distribution Center or a customer location.

Physical Qualifications: The ability to perform physical activities, including standing, walking, driving, and lifting, as required by the job.
