Job Summary:

The Food Fanatic Chef is a key role within the US Foods organization, responsible for driving culinary innovation and sales growth. This position requires a strong culinary background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute culinary strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct on-site operations assessments and provide customized culinary presentations to customers.
  • Lead culinary training programs for sales teams and customers, focusing on product knowledge and sales strategies.
  • Identify and capitalize on culinary trends and industry conditions to drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and events.
  • Provide expert-level product knowledge and technique to customers and internal stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of relevant culinary experience, including a comprehensive culinary background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages and delivery to different audiences.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Strong leadership and project management skills, with the ability to drive results and achieve goals.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chef certification and membership in local and national culinary organizations.
  • Experience in sales or sales support, with a focus on culinary products and services.
  • Strong understanding of culinary trends and industry conditions, with the ability to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.

Work Environment:

The Food Fanatic Chef will work in a kitchen environment, either at the Distribution Center or a customer location. The role requires frequent travel and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
