Job Title: Food Fanatic Chef

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Fanatic Chef to join our team at US Foods. As a key member of our sales support team, you will be responsible for driving culinary innovation and sales growth in the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Conduct culinary assessments and provide recommendations to customers to improve their menu offerings and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop and execute sales strategies that drive growth and revenue.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and culinary innovations to provide expert advice and guidance to customers.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to educate customers on new products and culinary techniques.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in the food service industry, with a strong culinary background.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary, food service, and hospitality fundamentals.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Chef certification and membership in local and national culinary organizations.
  • Experience in sales or sales support, with a strong understanding of the food service industry.
Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will be able to work in a kitchen environment, either at our distribution center or at customer locations. The role requires frequent travel and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
