Job Title: Food Fanatic Chef

Job Summary:

The Food Fanatic Chef is a key role within the US Foods organization, responsible for driving culinary innovation and sales growth. This position requires a strong culinary background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute culinary strategies to drive sales growth and customer engagement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, sales teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct culinary assessments and provide recommendations to customers and internal teams.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to sales teams and customers on culinary trends and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns and events.
  • Stay up-to-date on culinary trends and industry developments to inform sales and marketing strategies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience, including a comprehensive culinary background.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Chef certification and membership in local and national culinary organizations.
  • Prior sales or sales support experience.

Work Environment:

The Food Fanatic Chef will work in a kitchen environment, either at the Distribution Center or a customer location. The role requires frequent travel and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Qualifications:

The Food Fanatic Chef must be able to perform the following physical activities for the described length of time:

  • Stand frequently.
  • Walk frequently.
  • Drive occasionally.
  • Sit occasionally.
  • Lift 1-10 lbs (sedentary) frequently.
  • Lift 11-20 lbs (light) frequently.
  • Lift 21-50 lbs (medium) occasionally.
  • Lift 51-100 lbs (heavy) occasionally.
  • Lift over 100 lbs (very heavy) occasionally.
