About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at the InterContinental Washington D.C. – The Wharf. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will be responsible for providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide warm and welcoming greetings to all guests, acknowledging IHG Rewards Club members and returning guests
  • Manage guest bookings, payments, and check-in/check-out processes with efficiency and accuracy
  • Anticipate and meet the needs of our guests, offering tailored recommendations and solutions to ensure their stay is memorable and enjoyable
  • Communicate effectively with guests, colleagues, and management to resolve any issues or concerns
  • Stay up-to-date with hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to provide accurate information to guests
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve issues efficiently
  • Fluency in the local language (English) and basic math skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
