Job Title: Diesel Mechanic Heavy Equipment



About the Role:



We are seeking a highly skilled Diesel Mechanic Heavy Equipment to join our team at Avenel Truck. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of our heavy equipment fleet.



Responsibilities:




  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts and components.
  • Conduct diagnostic tests to identify and troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless equipment operation and minimize downtime.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used.
  • Stay up-to-date with manufacturer recommendations and industry best practices.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.


Requirements:




  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in heavy equipment maintenance or repair.
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, transmission systems, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
