The estimated salary for this QA Specialist role in Avenel, NJ ranges from $47,000 to $70,000 depending on experience.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Specialist to join our team. As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 quality management systems.

You will also be responsible for performing physical testing required to maintain certifications and recording results. Additionally, you will assist with inspection logs and sample retention, including AAMA and VSI standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of ISO 9001 quality management systems
  • Perform physical testing required to maintain certifications and record results
  • Assist with inspection logs and sample retention, including AAMA and VSI standards
  • Maintain calibration systems for all existing devices, gages, and instruments
  • Perform random product audits as required, including safety, QC inspection, SOP audits, and 5S

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have manufacturing experience, preferably in extrusion. You should also have a strong understanding of quality standards and processes.

  • Manufacturing experience - extrusion preferred
  • Strong understanding of Quality Standards and Processes
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, optical comparator, and lab equipment
  • Computer skills using Microsoft Office
