About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team in Avenel, New Jersey. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required standards and specifications through thorough inspections and testing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of the ISO 9001 program, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Organize and maintain inspection logs and sample retention in accordance with AAMA and VSI requirements, providing accurate records for quality control purposes.
  • Perform physical testing required to maintain certifications, record results per ASTM 7793 and ASTM 4726, and ensure data accuracy.
  • Manage the Non-Conformance Material (NCM) process for internal and external customer returns, resolving issues efficiently.
  • Maintain the calibration system for all devices, gages, and instruments during your shift, ensuring precision and accuracy.
  • Conduct random product audits, including Safety, QC Inspection, SOP audits, and 5S, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Communicate non-conformances identified during production audits, facilitating prompt corrective actions.
  • Train operators and technicians on test methods and AMI standards, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
Requirements
  • Experience in quality assurance and inspection, with a strong understanding of industry standards.
  • Proficiency with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers, optical comparators, and lab equipment.
  • Strong documentation skills, with the ability to create accurate reports and records.
  • Computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office, for data management and analysis.
  • High School Diploma or GED, with relevant experience in quality assurance or a related field.
