Job Title: Senior Director, Program Team Leader

Job Summary:

Bicycle Therapeutics is seeking an experienced Senior Director, Program Team Leader, to join our innovative biotech company. This pivotal role is integral to the success of one or more multi-indication assets in our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Spearhead cross-functional program strategy, acting as the central leader and main point of contact for the program team, heads of functions, and governance committees.
  • Program Development: Oversee the development of the asset through to commercialization and life-cycle management.
  • Matrix Leadership: Direct and mentor a cross-functional team of domain area leaders, fostering collaboration and high performance.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively across all levels of the organization, tailoring messages to diverse audiences.

Requirements:

  • Advanced Degree: Advanced degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., M.B.A, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline preferred, but not required.
  • Industry Experience: 10+ years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a track record in drug development; oncology experience preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading cross-functional, matrixed teams through early-stage and pivotal trial stage.
  • Leadership Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
