Job Summary

Bicycle Therapeutics is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Director, Program Team Leader, to join our innovative biotech company. This pivotal role is integral to the success of one or more multi-indication assets in our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership
    • Lead the strategic direction and execution of one or more asset's integrated nonclinical, translational, clinical, regulatory, CMC, and commercial plans
    • Ensure alignment of the program's objectives with the overall company strategy and investment priorities
  • Matrix Leadership
    • Serve as the strategic leader of one or more early-phase program teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment across all functions and levels
    • Act as the main point of contact for program strategy between the program team and heads of functions and governance committees, driving strategic decision-making, risk mitigation and issue resolution
  • Cultural Fit
    • Cultivate a culture of collaboration, transparency, and accountability within the program team and broader organization
    • Demonstrate a high sense of urgency and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment

Requirements

  • Advanced degree (Ph.D., Pharm.D., M.D., M.B.A, or equivalent) in a relevant discipline preferred, but not required
  • 10+ years of experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry, with a track record in drug development; oncology experience preferred
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional, matrixed teams through early-stage and pivotal trial stage
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
