Veterinary Care Specialist

At Metropolitan Animal Emergency and Specialty Center, we take pride in providing exceptional veterinary care to our patients and their families. As a Veterinary Technician, you will play a vital role in our team, working closely with our veterinarians to deliver top-notch care and support.
Key Responsibilities- Support veterinarians in providing quality care, advocating for pets, and educating clients
- Assist with surgeries, procedures, and laboratory tests, ensuring accurate results and patient safety
- Communicate effectively with clients, providing guidance on pet health concerns, Thrive Membership options, and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, adhering to industry standards and regulations
- Participate in ongoing learning and development opportunities, staying up-to-date on the latest techniques and best practices in veterinary care
- 2-3 years of experience as a veterinary technician or veterinary assistant
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Emergency experience preferred, but not required
