About the Role

Corteva Agriscience is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Trait Integration Strategy Lead to drive innovation and strategy in our Trait Integration organization. This critical role will be responsible for developing and executing global plans to deliver high-quality products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement global trait integration strategies.
  • Collaborate with breeding, biotech, production, and commercial teams to ensure seamless delivery of products.
  • Design and implement trait integration backcrossing strategies to deliver high-quality conversions to the pipeline.
  • Monitor and manage the Trait Introgression Pipeline to ensure timely delivery of required products.
  • Identify and mitigate potential problems in operations to ensure delivery of products.
  • Develop and implement best practices and protocols for each site, crop, and process.
  • Reallocate resources as needed based on product development strategy changes.
Requirements
  • PhD or MS degree in plant breeding, plant sciences, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of research experience in trait integration and backcrossing.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Deep understanding of trait integration techniques and backcrossing.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
