Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership in Research: Oversee Medicinal Chemistry efforts for RLT or ADC discovery programs.
  • Scientific Expertise: Utilize extensive knowledge of medicinal chemistry to design and refine small molecules for RLT and linker-payloads for ADCs.
  • Innovative Development: Foster innovation in the creation and synthesis of novel ADC payloads and ligands for RLT to enhance therapeutic efficacy.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with teams across biology, pharmacology, and ADME/PK to ensure cohesive integration of research and development activities.
  • Research Advancement: Propel innovative research in the design and synthesis of ADC payloads and RLT ligands to maximize their therapeutic impact.
  • Intellectual Contributions: Engage in the generation of intellectual property through patent applications and scholarly publications.

Qualifications:

  • Ph.D. in Synthetic Organic or Medicinal Chemistry with at least eight years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in developing small molecule targeted therapies, particularly in RLT and ADCs.
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse scientific team.
  • Strong analytical skills to tackle complex scientific challenges and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional communication skills with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across various teams.
  • A solid record of publications, patents, and significant contributions to the field.
