Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, gather relevant information and implement a comprehensive treatment program utilizing various techniques and activities; adjust treatment plans as necessary based on patient progress; assess equipment and discharge requirements
  • Maintain awareness of patient injuries and diagnoses, ensuring all necessary precautions are taken
  • Assist patients in preparing for treatment modalities as required
  • Deliver treatment to a diverse range of diagnostic populations and complete necessary documentation in accordance with hospital policies and state regulations
  • Communicate and collaborate with support staff regarding treatment directives as outlined by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Administer physical agents, therapeutic exercises, or gait-training activities as specified in the patient’s plan of care, progressing patients appropriately as determined by the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Current state licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant
  • Prior experience in patient care is preferred
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification

Compensation starts at an hourly rate. While we anticipate that new hires will be compensated within this range, certain circumstances may allow for variations in pay.
