Job Title: Physical Therapy Aide

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Physical Therapy Aide to join our team at Physical Rehabilitation Network. As a Physical Therapy Aide, you will play a vital role in supporting our physical therapists in delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physical therapists in preparing treatment areas, patients, equipment, and materials.
  • Perform procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist or physical therapy assistant.
  • Prepare patients for physical therapy treatment by welcoming, comforting, and providing information.
  • Provide information to patients by answering questions and requests.
  • Help treat patients by applying heat packs and ice packs, assisting patients into the gym, and monitoring motion.
  • Educate patients by demonstrating proper use of equipment and exercise routines.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology or Exercise Science preferred.
  • 6 months+ related experience preferred.
  • CPR Certification preferred.
  • Ability to lift and carry or otherwise move 25-50 pounds regularly/occasionally.
