Your expertise will be vital in assisting patients in the San Diego area to regain their speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver targeted therapy to enhance patients' communication and swallowing skills.
- Monitor and report patient progress to supervisors and collaborate with team members on care plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Educate patients' families and nursing staff on therapy techniques and follow-up programs.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by maintaining equipment and workspaces.
- Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and all applicable laws and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology from ASHA.
- A minimum of six months of experience in speech therapy, particularly with adult and geriatric populations.
- Valid and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Compensation: The hourly rate for this position is $55, with potential adjustments based on specific circumstances.
