We are excited to announce that Select Physical Therapy is expanding Our outpatient orthopedic facility in MANHATTAN BEACH, CA is on the lookout for a dedicated outpatient orthopedic Rehabilitation Assistant (RA) to join our skilled team. We cater to a diverse demographic, treating individuals from adolescents to seniors, including a variety of conditions such as general orthopedics, sports injuries, neurological disorders, vestibular issues, industrial rehabilitation, TMJ, pelvic health, and more. As part of the nation's largest provider of outpatient rehabilitation services, you will collaborate with fellow physical therapists, rehabilitation assistants, and athletic trainers to support and educate the community members we serve. We maintain reasonable caseload expectations for this full-time role and welcome RAs seeking both clinical and professional development from a recognized leader in outpatient rehabilitation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide patient care under the guidance and supervision of a licensed physical therapist, adhering to the State Practice Act.
  • Utilize your training and education to assist the Physical Therapist in executing prescribed treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers, and facilities with minimal supervision, in line with the principles and practices of physical therapy and Select Medical policies.
  • Foster positive interactions with facilities and clients, enhancing and expanding relationships with facility staff.
Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program and successful completion of a national examination for Physical Therapist Assistants certified by the CAPTE.
  • Valid state license and/or certification in the state of practice.
  • Current Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
