Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver therapy aimed at enhancing speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing capabilities of patients.
- Monitor and report patient progress to supervisors and collaborate with team members on care strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Educate patients' families and nursing staff on follow-up care and therapy techniques.
- Ensure a safe and clean working environment by maintaining equipment and workspaces.
- Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct and applicable laws in all job responsibilities.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Certification of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology or Audiology from ASHA.
- At least six months of experience in speech therapy, particularly with adult and geriatric populations.
- Valid and unrestricted Speech-Language Pathologist license in the state of practice.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Flexibility to work various hours, including weekends.
Compensation: $55 per hour. While this is the expected hourly rate, there may be circumstances that allow for variations.
