Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and development of electrical projects and initiatives within the plant, ensuring engineering drawings, maintenance procedures, and technical information are up-to-date, and providing direction to maintenance associates and contract labor.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical Project Management: Lead the design and development of electrical projects and initiatives within the plant, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  • Engineering Documentation: Ensure engineering drawings, maintenance procedures, and technical information are accurate, up-to-date, and easily accessible to maintenance associates and contract labor.
  • Team Leadership: Provide direction and guidance to maintenance associates and contract labor, ensuring they have the necessary tools, training, and support to perform their duties effectively.
  • Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough root cause analysis on equipment failures and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Training and Development: Develop and organize training programs for maintenance associates that apply to operations, maintenance, and safety.
  • Electrical Safety: Serve as a subject matter expert for electrical safety across the plant, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in an electrical engineering role, with a minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance engineer experience
  • Skills: Heavy manufacturing experience in the implementation of automation projects with successful cost and performance outcomes, project management experience, and strong problem-solving skills
