Position Summary:

We are in search of a proficient and seasoned Maintenance Reliability Manager to spearhead the creation and execution of predictive and preventative maintenance strategies. The successful candidate will guarantee the reliability of equipment and processes while fostering continuous enhancement in both personnel and machinery performance. This role encompasses supervising the upkeep of industrial equipment, endorsing Lean Manufacturing practices, and managing a computerized maintenance management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Provide direction and support to team members in the repair of electrical and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Scheduling: Allocate tasks and organize maintenance technicians to ensure prompt completion of work orders and maintain equipment calibrations.
  • Diagnostics: Assist team members in diagnosing and replacing defective mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Lean Initiatives: Advocate for Lean Manufacturing practices and collaborate with operational teams to rectify equipment and process shortcomings.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee spare parts and maintenance supplies inventories, negotiating with suppliers to secure cost-effective solutions.
  • Reporting: Generate reports, analyze data, and propose enhancements for maintenance operations.
  • Training: Ensure maintenance personnel are adequately trained and motivated to perform tasks safely and efficiently.
  • System Management: Manage the computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and maintenance history.
  • Metrics Tracking: Monitor and enhance key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance costs, and PM compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience:
    • At least five years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing setting.
    • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls.
    • Demonstrated ability in managing electrical and mechanical maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in digital controls troubleshooting.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficient in using computer applications, including Word and Excel.
