Position Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Maintenance Reliability Manager to spearhead the creation and execution of predictive and preventative maintenance strategies. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability of equipment and processes while fostering continuous improvement in both personnel and machinery performance. This role includes overseeing the upkeep of industrial equipment, supporting Lean Manufacturing practices, and managing a computerized maintenance management system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Guide and assist team members in the repair of electrical and mechanical systems, following electrical codes, manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Task Management: Allocate tasks and organize maintenance technicians to ensure prompt completion of work orders and uphold equipment calibrations.
  • Diagnostics: Support team members in diagnosing and replacing defective mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
  • Lean Manufacturing Support: Assist Lean Manufacturing initiatives and collaborate with operational teams to rectify equipment and process inefficiencies.
  • Inventory Oversight: Manage spare parts and maintenance supplies inventory, negotiating with suppliers to ensure cost efficiency.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports, analyze data, and propose enhancements for maintenance operations.
  • Training and Development: Ensure maintenance staff are adequately trained and motivated to perform tasks safely and effectively.
  • System Oversight: Supervise the computerized maintenance management system for tracking work orders and maintenance history.
  • Performance Metrics: Monitor and enhance key maintenance metrics such as asset utilization, maintenance costs, and PM compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Experience:
    • At least five years of maintenance management experience in a manufacturing setting.
    • Experience in troubleshooting mechanical systems with electronic controls.
    • Demonstrated capability in managing electrical and mechanical maintenance for manufacturing equipment.
  • Skills:
    • Expertise in digital controls troubleshooting.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
    • Proficient in using computer applications, including Word and Excel.
