As the Senior Manager of Maintenance Reliability, you will lead the maintenance operations at a key facility, overseeing a diverse team of Maintenance Technicians, Engineers, Electronics Technicians, and Supervisors. This role is essential in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production equipment, minimizing downtime, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a large team, fostering a culture of safety, collaboration, and high performance.
- Enhance reliability and maintenance processes through the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, planning, scheduling, and root cause analysis.
- Evaluate key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement in cost efficiency, productivity, and equipment availability.
- Adopt a reliability-centered approach to achieve optimal performance within the maintenance organization.
- Collaborate with maintenance customers to ensure budget compliance while facilitating informed decision-making.
- Work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive process enhancements.
- Participate in early equipment management activities to ensure successful modernization efforts.
- Promote adherence to safety, environmental, and regulatory standards within the maintenance team.
- Develop and implement annual training plans for technicians and direct reports to enhance team capabilities.
- Lead large-scale maintenance projects from planning through execution and evaluation.
- Exemplify and promote the company's culture, values, and objectives in all aspects of leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in developing maintenance strategies and managing maintenance budgets.
- Strong technical knowledge of maintenance practices, including corrective, preventive, predictive, and precision maintenance.
- Experience in the wire and cable manufacturing sector is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
- Proficient problem-solving and analytical skills, capable of making data-driven decisions.
- Familiarity with maintenance management systems and software, preferably SAP PM.
