Job Title: Business Development Representative

TruGreen is seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for achieving sales goals and executing sales plans within an assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve sales goals and execute sales plans to small to large businesses, including property managers, school systems, sports facilities, government facilities, restaurants, banks, and other companies in need of superior lawn care products and services.
  • Present proposals for lawn care services and programs, and obtain long-term contracts.
  • Generate new business-to-business (B2B) sales revenue by prospecting and adding new commercial customers.
  • Negotiate price and design using company-provided guidelines and technology/Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Manage projects and opportunities, contact information, forecasting reports, and other essential tasks using a CRM system.
  • Collaborate with local branch management and service teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA) from a four-year college or university or related work experience.
  • Preferred previous sales experience, proven sales track record, industry or internal company-related experience, and years of B2B sales experience.
  • Knowledge of the organization's products and services, consultative selling abilities, and ability to collaborate and influence internal and external decision-makers.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills with internal associates and external customers.
  • Valid driver's license required.
