Job Description

The Proposal Writer is a crucial member of our team, responsible for creating high-quality proposals that drive new business opportunities for Olameter. This role requires a strong understanding of design-procure-construct-commission processes and related terminology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and write comprehensive proposals for turn-key projects, including design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather relevant project information and specifications.
  • Maintain project timelines, upload and update bid records in Salesforce, and ensure all proposals are submitted on time.
  • Develop clear, concise, and compelling technical narratives that highlight Olameter's strengths and capabilities.
  • Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitors, and project requirements to enhance proposal quality and competitiveness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of proposal writing experience within the construction or engineering sectors, specifically focusing on turn-key projects.
  • Strong understanding of design-procure-construct-commission processes and related terminology.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to tailor messages for various audiences.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.

Working Conditions:

Exposed to a normal office environment, this role may involve sitting for extended periods, utilizing phones, computers, printers, and general office equipment.
