Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Systems Technician to enhance our operational capabilities in support of our government client's requirements. This role is critical in managing and executing various tasks associated with IT operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting support for information systems and associated hardware.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of computer systems, including hardware and software upgrades.
- Deliver exceptional end-user support and software troubleshooting.
- Participate in the administration of email systems and manage internal inquiries related to system maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with project tracking and documentation standards.
- Engage in special projects as required, maintaining current knowledge of relevant technologies.
Qualifications:
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in IT operations support (3+ years preferred).
- Possession of current DoD Information Assurance (IA) Certification, such as CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+ CE, Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), or CCNA-Security.
- Ability to lift equipment weighing 20-30 pounds and perform physical tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent customer service skills.
Additional Information:
Due to the sensitive nature of our work, candidates must hold a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph. This position involves privileged user access, necessitating adherence to strict security protocols and monitoring.
